I'm here to update again. Will be updating on some cosmetics review that i bought some time ago.

1) Gel Eyeliner in Warm Bronze and Navy Blue.
Bought this from a blogshop for 10 bucks w/o postage fee. I like that texture of the eyeliner, very soft. But the gel clumps up too easily and dries out very fast when you just apply. The warm bronze color doesn't really show up well on the lids unless you really apply lots of layer, but the shimmer does brings out your eyes. As for the navy blue, when you apply, the color just shows up immediately, what you see is what you get. The gel eyeliner came with a free eyeliner brush. But is those kind of sponge tip and it's kinda hard. When i apply the eyeliner using the brush, my lids are practically rubbing against it. So i normally only use my own brush. But overall the product is great.

2) In2it 2-way foundation extra cover
This product is great!! It's waterproof (i've tested it). But i'm sure is this product really oil control or not. The sad thing is this product no longer sell in Watsons i think. I bought this last year if i remember. And they have a free refill also. But i seldom use powder foundation cuz they dries up my face real fast. So i only use it when i need some fast action to make myself presentable.

3) Shills BB cream SPF 30
My friends bought this for me last year. They only have one color. And it's too light for me cuz i'm quite tanned. So i only used this as a concealer. The coverage is not that great, can't conceal my acne scars, but it does moisturize my face. It's also has some mild fragrance to it. Dun really recommend this product though.

4) THEFACESHOP Touch&Shine dual eye color in silver&navy
Totally in love with this. Creases a little but not much. The silver is eyeshadow and the navy is eyeliner, but you can also use it as eyeshadow. The navy color totally matches my gel eyeliner. The texture is very soft and can be drawn on lids very easily. The silver is very light, can't really see it unless there's light shining on it. It gives off shimmers. Totally great for nightclubbing. BUT!!!!! It smudges very very very easily. When your face oil starts to come out, the eyeliner smudges without hesitation. So have to touch up frequently.

5) Daiso's color makeup base in green and white
Though it's very cheap, but i regret wasting my $4 on these. They say green can help cover redness on faces, but i dun really see the results. And the texture of the base is not that good also. I squeezed out a little and spread, the whole base could not stay on the skin. I might try faceshop's base someday.

Update till here. Stay tune for my post on food!!!!!

What i bought yesterday from watsons.

They are having some sale right now for some cosmetics. Bought ZA true white lotion. Helps to diminish acne scar and blemishes. I din buy the whole range cuz i'm not into getting myself fair. I LOVE THE SUN!!! Just that i have serious acne scars on my cheeks. Been using this lotion for a year. Works well on me i must say. Previously i used Garnier Pure A facial wash to cleanse my face and use this as a toner. But because i very dry and sensitive skin, whenever i use products with scrubs, my face becomes red. Like patrick from spongebob. So now i'm using a mild cleanser, Cetaphil. Works pretty well with the lotion. Although you can't see fast results as compared to using Pure A + lotion. But after using the combination for a month now, my scars really lightens a bit. Not as red as before.

And my first ever lipstick from Maybelline. Water shine in B22. Nude color range, but can't see in picture and i haven really try the product yet. But i love the color, doesn't seems too dark or bright for me.

And i just how lip is impt to ladies. Chapped dry lips doesn't appeal to ppl be it male or female. Makes you look sick and i think your other half won't want to kiss you. And cuz i have dry lips, i use warm water to pat on my lips and use fourth finger or towel to slowly rub away the dead skin on the lips. After that i quickly use lip balm and done. But i got another method is after clearing dead skin and slap some balm on lips, some do use plastic wraps (保鲜膜), cut it to squares that can cover your lips and put it there for like a few minutes. After that remove the plastic and apply some balm. Tadah!!! your lip will be boing boing and soft. But i'm not sure whether this works or not though. But you can try.

What lip balms i use are these.

The one from bodyshop is a tad too flavoured and sticky for me. But i only use it when my lip are really calling for help.

I personally do recommend the balm from Vaseline. As you know they are famous for treating dry, chapped lips. And the flavour is really light and not sticky. My first choice. And can really makes your lips moisturize from day to night.

The lip balm from mentholatum, not bad i say. But when i use this, my lips gets drier even more easily and i must keep touching up on my lips. I bit too lazy. So ya.

Last one is a very long ago lip balm cum gloss. I dunno when i bought this. I think very long already, but i seldom use. Too sticky but glossy. I dun like too glossy lip and this too, makes your lips dry faster than normal. And i think you can't find it anywhere i suppose. I bought these when i was Sec 4 or 5. OMG!! 5 years since i left my school. Gonna throw it away soon.

OKay, update till here. More will come soon. Going to cook today, stay tune to this blog for new healthy recipes.

Made citrus, or rather orange drink for my parents. Not orange juice, but more towards tea that kind. Looks very atas hor???? LOL!! My mama also say not bad leh. LOL!!

These few days i love to try make drinks with fruits. Mostly using citrus fruits. Got a kind of smell i like :D I feel like buying the cocktail book leh. But then at home also not no liquer that are needed.

Quite a long post today cuz of some steps. Bear with it. LOL!

Simple steps to making this orange drink.
.
.
1) Sliced some orange peels thinly, remove any white spongey parts from the skin cuz that one will make your drink taste bitter. Then cut the thinly peeled skin into fine slices.
You can choose to use a grater to make your life easier.

2) Cut a few slices of orange without those "membrane-look-alike" thing (if you get what i mean)

3) Pour in hot water and mix some honey (preferably manuka honey or those honey which is not transparent kind, which is a bit ex than those normal ones) to your liking.

4) Stir well.

You will smell some orange fragrance. Very refreshing drink. Can also clean your tongue palette at the same time. Can also try to pop-in a few ice cubes to make it a little cold. You can choose to/not to eat the orange peels or slices.

Enjoy the four simple steps to make atas drink. LOL!!

Will try to make more atas drink if i have the time and the inspiration. For now just try to make this drink for your friends or during taitai teabreak.

Note: If you dun have honey or no $$ to buy. Can try cooking your own caramel by melting the sugar. But you have to keep stirring non stop until light brown color.

::::Steps to caramel making::::

1) Pour desired amt of sugar to the cooking pan.

2) Keep stirring until the sugar becomes golden brown. (Usually takes ard 20 mins)

3) Let the melted sugar cool down for ard 5 to 10 mins first before putting it into the cup cuz the temperature is VERY VERY VERY HOT!! And you will spoil your precious cups. You can also try to pour the syrup onto metallic trays to let it cool faster.

4)Once cooled, the caramel will be a bit harden. TRY to break the caramel into small bits and mixed it with the drink. The small bits will melt slowly if you keep stirring.

5) Sit down, relax and enjoy your drink.

Next, pondering how to clean away the leftovers that harden which are stuck onto your pan??

Try pouring hot water to pan. Turn on to small fire and stir, the caramel will slowly melt away. Wash your pan and make sure that there's no hard caramel left if not the ants will be having "party" there.

As for the tray, try pouring the hot water over the harden caramel in the sink without using your hands unless you are mad. The caramel will slowly melt away. But then i dunno how much water you will waste. haha.

That's all folks!!! Enjoy~~~~

Steamed this cabbage wrap for dinner just now. First time try, not bad though. No oil, no pork smell, the taste very light also. The gravy i used here are the ones after steaming the wraps.

The fillings in the cabbage are minced pork, preferably lean minced meat if for healthier choice. I mixed some tofu (水豆腐) and finely chopped carrot and mushrooms in there for texture. So the pork wont taste so siap siap if you know what i mean. Adding the tofu changes the pork texture to a smoother 口感. Mushrooms and carrot are to own choice though. Can add chopped water chestnut in there for crunchy feel. But too bad i dun have chestnut today. Actually the filling is a bit like our house making hakka yong tau foo. Just that we add more things other than those mentioned.

OK, detailed ingredients down here.

What you need:

- Cabbage

Fillings:
- minced pork/ chicken (i always use aga-ration for ingredients. Go with your feel.)
- tofu (those in a box one with water inside)
- carrots, chop finely *to your choice*
- fresh mushrooms (not dried ones), chop finely *to your choice*
- water chestnuts, chop finely *to your choice*

Note: you can use onions, celery or whatever ingredients you can think of to put in there. You can also choose not to put anything, just plain minced meat and tofu. But if there's still leftover cabbage after tearing up to the amount you want, chopped it and mix with the fillings. Dun waste.

Method:
- 1:1 ratio of minced meat and tofu. mixed everything together well.
- Add those other veggies that are chopped in, mix well.
- Season it with some light soy sauce. Or you can choose to add these in the gravy after steaming.
- Tear some cabbage. Leave it in one full piece and not in small pieces.
- Get 2 to 3 spoonfuls of well mixed meat and put in the cabbage.
- Roll the cabbage like popiah and put in plate. Do so for all.
- Finish rolling, put the whole plate into steamer. Wait patiently for 20 mins or so to make sure that the meat are fully-cooked.
(you can also slice those extra fresh shrooms and put over the wraps and steam it together)

For nice presentation,
- Separate the gravy and mushrooms from the wraps
- Cook the gravy till boil, add some corn starch and just go over the wraps.

Or want watery watery gravy also can, after steaming just take out and it's edible. , i do recommend to mix some corn starch in, it's more appetizing

That's about how i made this dish. More to come i hope. Try it if you want some light dinner dish or trying out new recipes. Any questions, you can email me. My email address is at the sidebar.

Enjoy!!
