Sorry for not updating regularly cuz i'm lazy. Okay, the recipe for today will be Chilli Paste Chicken.

It looks like a malay chilli chicken but it's not. My version taste a little bit sweeter and i'm not using sambal chilli.

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 tbsp Korean Chilli paste
- 2 cloves of garlic ->fresh garlic preferred
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1/2 tspn corn syrup -> can be found in korean mart
- 1 wedge of fresh Lemon juice
- Chicken thigh/drumstick

Methods:

1) Cut the chicken into bite size
2) Cut the onion into strips and chop the garlic finely
3) Mix chilli paste, garlics, onions, soy sauce and corn syrup together and mix well.
4) Pour the mixture to the chicken and mix well so that every chicken is covered with the mixture.
5) Let the chicken sit for 20-30 mins to wait for the chicken to absorb the paste.
6) Cook the chicken in a wok or pan. Add some water if it's too dry.
7) Cover the chicken for abt 20 mins in medium low heat until it's fully cooked.
8) Lastly, add the lemon juice to the dish, stir the dish well and serve.

Why we add lemon last cuz lemon juice and enhance the flavor of the dish and there will be a hint of lemon taste in it so you will feel very appetizing.

And lemon does not compliments any dish. So dun add lemon to any dish you cook.

Next i will be updating on braised pork belly and how to cook a tangy squid using lemon.

1) Wash the mushrooms and put into a pot of water till boil. You can choose to slice it or just cook it as a whole mushroom.
2) Cut the carrot into bite size and put it to the pot and cook together with the mushrooms.
3) Chop the leek diagonally and wash it in tap water for a few secs.

Just got back from Batu Pahat for a short getaway. Even though i have not found a job doesn;t mean i can't go on a holiday. Bought nothing there except for some shorts and Maybelline Gel Eyeliner and FOOD!!

Been wanting to try the gel eyeliner from their brand but then it's a bit selling too ex here. So when i when in on saturday, my uncle stop us at Carrefour then we went to shop for our own stuffs. Went to search for this product. Cost 39.90RM, when convert it's ard S$16 or S$17. So it's like a few dollars cheaper there. Wanted to buy other stuffs like foundation and eyeshadow, but scared that we might not have enough $$ to buy food. So i have to curb myself of not buying.

I love the texture of the gel liner, very creamy and dark. Oh, i bought it in black, i din manage to find other colors. If i'm going in malaysia again i might buy brown and other cosmetics. I've tried the eyeliner and it's very easy to apply on. A few strokes and the black shows up really well. I love the brush that came with it also. So cute and easy to use.

If you have finished using the pot of eyeliner, dun throw away the brush. Just wash and clean it and you can use as a lipstick brush. The pot also can wash it and keep it, in case any mini things like earstuds you also can keep it inside for easy storage.

The gel liner can use for a very long time, i think i need not buy any eyeliner for a year or so. MIGHT be going in to JB soon. Hope there's more cheaper clothes and cosmetics for me to see see look look and buy!!!

Made this pumpkin and chicken soup. Good for healthy diet ppl. If you think there's too much oil, you can use a kind of absorbent paper which can be bought from daiso. Will upload the pics soon. This soup is very easy to cook.

If you are cooking for the whole family, use half a chicken and half pumpkin. Peel the pumpkin skin with a peeler, if you are a expert at peeling you can also use a knife but really careful cuz the skin is super hard. Normally i would cook the pumpkin first to let it soften and throw in the chicken. Add salt for seasoning. Cuz pumpkin is sweet so you might have to add quite an amount of salt. I dun recommend to use soy sauce cuz the soya bean taste would be very heavy and will taste weird with pumpkin. Let it boil in medium fire for around 2 hours and you're done.

Next is the rolled omelette, i intro-ed this in my previous post, and this is just to let you see how the omelette will look like inside if it's rolled up. You can find videos on how to make japanese rolled omelette on YouTube. They add mirin, dashi and soy sauce. This will make the egg taste sweeter cuz mirin is sweet sake.

Enjoy!!

Made salad again today, but replaced the chesdale cheese with fetta cheese.

This cheese can be bought in ntuc, cost abt 5 bucks. I bought the reduced fat version, there's also a original version of the cheese. Or if you want to use a better grade of fetta can go Carrefour. They have a station there that sells all kinds of cheeses, hams and olives. Diced the cheese and put into your salad. Dun add too much of this cheese cuz it has a heavy taste when added just a bit. if you are very lazy to do the seasoning yourself, they also sell ready-to-mix seasoning. They got 2 types, fetta cheese with olives oil & spices and fetta cheese with olive oil & herbs.

Cooked rolled cheese omelette yesterday for snack. Taste so nice, you can also see the spiral pattern of the egg, but i din take a pic of eat cuz i was hungry. LOL!! Look at the melted cheese, make me drool again.

If you dunno how to roll up the omelette, you can just cook a round shape.

Ingredients
-2 eggs
-Cheese (any type)

I used 2 eggs, beat them up, add a pinch of salt. Pour half of the beaten eggs into pan first. Let it stay there until halfcooked (still can see liquid on egg). Add cheese (kraft cheese/mozarella or whatever cheese you like). Take out from pan immediately. Pour the rest of the beaten eggs into the pan (leave abt 2 tbsp of egg mixture), let fry until halfcook again. Take the first omelette (with cheese) and put on top of the omelette, make sure that the cheese have to be in the middle of the egg. You will see that the sides of the omelette doesn't stick. This is where the 2 tbsp of egg comes in, use it like a glue, dap egg mixture along the sides of the eggs and press. This will let the 2 omelettes stick together. Cook until both sides are golden brown, this also makes sure that the middle of the eggs are hot enough to melt the cheese.

Eat it with ketchup or chilli or by itself.
Enjoy!!!!

Next up will be black pepper pork strips recipe.

Made this salad just now for my breakfast.

Used some butterhead lettuce that i've bought last week. You can also use romaine lettuce or normal 生菜. Add a bit of cherry tomatoes, chesdale cheese and ham. Cut the ham and cheese into strips and mix it with the veggies. For seasoning, add a tablespoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Add normal salt/garlic salt and black pepper for some peppery taste. Dun use powdered black pepper cuz the taste will be very heavy. I recommend using coarse ground black pepper.

Mixed it well and EAT!!! Taste damn good i promise.

Garlic salt can be bought at ntuc with the brand name Masterfood.

Next up is this. Bibimbap.

Learnt this online and recreate mine. Cut carrots and cucumbers into thin strips. Carrots you can either eat it raw or cook it it's up to you. Boil the meat in water till cook and cut in strips. You can buy some beansprouts to add (must be cooked). But i bought the soybean sprouts in ntuc and add inside. Fry a sunnysideup and place it on the top after you finish putting other veggies on the rice.

As for the chilli sauce. I use the korean chilli paste. It can be bought at either supermarts or korean supermarts. Add one teaspoon of sesame oil, 1/2 teaspoon of corn syrup or a pinch of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of light soy sauce to a tablespoon of chilli paste. Add more some each seasonings to match your tastebuds.

And you are done!! Mix well with the ingredients and rice and eat!!!

Enjoy and will be back for more!!!
