Made salad again today, but replaced the chesdale cheese with fetta cheese.
This cheese can be bought in ntuc, cost abt 5 bucks. I bought the reduced fat version, there's also a original version of the cheese. Or if you want to use a better grade of fetta can go Carrefour. They have a station there that sells all kinds of cheeses, hams and olives. Diced the cheese and put into your salad. Dun add too much of this cheese cuz it has a heavy taste when added just a bit. if you are very lazy to do the seasoning yourself, they also sell ready-to-mix seasoning. They got 2 types, fetta cheese with olives oil & spices and fetta cheese with olive oil & herbs.
Cooked rolled cheese omelette yesterday for snack. Taste so nice, you can also see the spiral pattern of the egg, but i din take a pic of eat cuz i was hungry. LOL!! Look at the melted cheese, make me drool again.
If you dunno how to roll up the omelette, you can just cook a round shape.
Ingredients
-2 eggs
-Cheese (any type)
I used 2 eggs, beat them up, add a pinch of salt. Pour half of the beaten eggs into pan first. Let it stay there until halfcooked (still can see liquid on egg). Add cheese (kraft cheese/mozarella or whatever cheese you like). Take out from pan immediately. Pour the rest of the beaten eggs into the pan (leave abt 2 tbsp of egg mixture), let fry until halfcook again. Take the first omelette (with cheese) and put on top of the omelette, make sure that the cheese have to be in the middle of the egg. You will see that the sides of the omelette doesn't stick. This is where the 2 tbsp of egg comes in, use it like a glue, dap egg mixture along the sides of the eggs and press. This will let the 2 omelettes stick together. Cook until both sides are golden brown, this also makes sure that the middle of the eggs are hot enough to melt the cheese.
Eat it with ketchup or chilli or by itself.
Enjoy!!!!
Next up will be black pepper pork strips recipe.
