If you are cooking for the whole family, use half a chicken and half pumpkin. Peel the pumpkin skin with a peeler, if you are a expert at peeling you can also use a knife but really careful cuz the skin is super hard. Normally i would cook the pumpkin first to let it soften and throw in the chicken. Add salt for seasoning. Cuz pumpkin is sweet so you might have to add quite an amount of salt. I dun recommend to use soy sauce cuz the soya bean taste would be very heavy and will taste weird with pumpkin. Let it boil in medium fire for around 2 hours and you're done.
Next is the rolled omelette, i intro-ed this in my previous post, and this is just to let you see how the omelette will look like inside if it's rolled up. You can find videos on how to make japanese rolled omelette on YouTube. They add mirin, dashi and soy sauce. This will make the egg taste sweeter cuz mirin is sweet sake.
Enjoy!!
